Callus Reduction

A callus will form on any part of the skin exposed to friction over a long period of time. Calluses are formed by the accumulation of keratinocytes in the outermost layer of skin.

Hard skin and calluses are usually found in patches on the soles of the feet, on bony prominences of the toes and around the heel area. This may crack and become sore. Our podiatrists can remove these calluses painlessly and give good advice on how to  avoid future reoccurrence.
